HAIR DRAMA

What does your Hair mean to you...???

I know that beauty is only skin deep...and it's truly whats inside that counts...BUT...

I do believe there is something very important in a woman feeling good about herself, and feeling "Pretty" is a huge part of this. There is nothing vain about wanting to look nice and putting your best "face" forward...

By the way I have a collection of hair clips & elastics for sale on ebay...

Share your hair horror story & let me know what your hair means to you....

Cheers

My hair is simply one of the many accessories I wear - when it no longer makes me happy I change it. One day I will shave my head completely bald just to see what it would be like. And, now that I am potentially allergic to all hair dye, it's like an unfinished book - I don't know what the ending will be until I get there! We all love you for you not your hair xxxooo

My hair IS very important to me. Lucky enough to have natural curly hair, which I now straighten, much to my Mother's chagrin. WHY do we do that? But yes, have to admit, not ready to cut it yet. GL with the appt Dee - can't wait to see the new do!

Honestly, I don't have an attachment to my hair. I have had a mohawk, tri-hawk and a Chelsea. I've been totally bald. I've had pink, purple, black, blue, green and leopard print stenciled hair (That was really cool).

At the end of the day, if you are confident with yourself, you can pull off any cut, style or color.

Dee, I think you would look stunning with a pixie cut. I can't wait to see the new you!

I would post a comment about my hair drama but I can't stop looking at your FUCKING AMAZING BONE STRUCTURE. Look at you! You are so gorgeous you could shave your head and still be the most stunning woman in the room (whereas I'm usually the most stunned). Having said that....you hit the nail on the head. Cutting your hair because you want change is one thing. Cutting it because you have to is another.

p.s. My hair fell out so much after I had Son No. 1 that I clogged up the bathroom tub and ended up with two sets of bangs when it started to grow back in.

p.s.s. Remember when I wrote about pubic hair dye? It was all fun and games when I wrote it to be funny. It's a whole other story when it's a necessity.

I used to be super attached to my hair. It was my security blanket. I wrapped myself in this mane of thick beautiful hair and hid. A perm when I was 20 left my hair matted and destroyed and had to be chopped from mid back length to mid ear length. I bawled, and didnt leave the house for days. Vowed never to have another haircut as long as I lived.

Fast forward 7ish years. Again hair almost to my bum, but a better attitude. Decided one day it was time to stop hiding and make a huge change. Got out the scissors (ok not my brightest move perhaps, but whatever) and started to chop. Blunt bangs at the front and choppy, punky fun at about an inch and a half long in the back. Light brown turned dark dark brown (soon to be black/purple).

Ive noticed as women we place a lot of weight on our hair to reinforce our femininity. Personally, I now feel more feminine, more sexy and have a whole lot more fun with my shorter 'do.

I hope you totally embrace the new do Dee! The amount of time and money you will save will amaze you! Just think, more time for cocktails!

I've had my hair every lenghth & every colour. I've never dyed my eyebrows just so I can prove that I'm not a redhead as everyone thinks I am (freckles)
